Your missions

At Genmab, we’re committed to building extra[not]ordinary futures together, by developing antibody products and pioneering, knock-your-socks-off therapies that change the lives of patients and the future of cancer treatment and serious diseases. From our people who are caring, candid, and impact-driven to our business, which is innovative and rooted in science, we believe that being proudly unique, determined to be our best, and authentic is essential to fulfilling our purpose.

Role

Our team is responsible for supporting CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls) development through all stages of clinical progress. For pre-clinical stage programs, we constantly seek to improve our capabilities on screening and defining efficient strategies of antibody purification. For late clinical stage programs, we perform downstream process (DSP) characterization to define suitable and robust operating ranges, mostly for chromatography and TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration) steps. We constantly seek to improve on existing process and analytical techniques and to introduce new technologies for process development and characterization.

Responsibilities

  • With your up-to-date knowledge and broad experience of chromatography, antibody characterization and biochemistry, will plan and perform protein separation experiments of antibody products.
  • You constantly contribute to the optimization and innovation of our team.
  • You support software applications like Empower and Unicorn.
  • You work closely with CMC colleagues, scientists and other research associates in the international project teams.
  • You document results in presentations and written reports.

Requirements

You are keen and motivated to use your up-to-date knowledge and experience with protein separation techniques to strengthen our team. You are an expert in protein purification. You are keen on pro-active and solution-oriented. You are precise and accurate in the execution of experiments and in the documentation of the results. You have good communication skills and are able to deal with changing priorities and unexpected workload. You like to work in a team but you are also capable of working independently.

In addition, you meet the following professional requirements:

  • You have a completed HLO/BSc or MSc education or equivalent. Applicants holding a PhD are considered overqualified and will not be considered.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • You have proven experience of CMC process development.
  • A successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is well versed in techniques including chromatography (PA, IEX, HIC etc.), filtration (including TFF), high-throughput screening, design of experiment (DoE) and data analysis.
  • You can work with tight deadlines and are capable of running several projects in parallel and adjust priorities appropriately.
  • You are a strong team player and collaborate effectively with internal and external parties in project and expert teams.
  • You are motivated by delivering high quality output and are used to working according to a quality system.
  • You have good relational and communication skills in English, as it is Genmab's main language.
