What you'll be doing...

The Director of Audience Development will be responsible for accelerating the growth of Future B2B’s email subscriptions, website traffic and webinar attendees. In addition to growing audiences, this role will work closely with our editorial and product teams to further develop our existing audiences by evolving the subscriber journey, implementing new retention strategies and increasing reader engagement. Outside-the-box thinking and attention to detail are required to succeed in this role. This role will report to the VP, Product & Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and playbooks to grow audiences across all of Future B2B’s channels: email, web, print, events and webinars.
  • Closely manage existing audiences and deliver monthly reporting around audience growth and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with Editorial and Product to implement new ways to interact with audiences and increase on-platform engagement
  • Run competitive analysis to ensure product market fit and implement strategies to maintain an edge over competitors
  • Constantly test and evaluate audience acquisition partners and vendors 
  • Partner with Sales, Editorial and Partner to determine the best use of the audience budget
  • Create new reports and dashboards in partnership with our BI team to enhance our ability to track our audience growth initiatives

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in an audience development, growth marketing,  product marketing or advertising role, preferably at a digital/advertising/publishing company
  • Results-driven self-starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outside-the-box thinking and a love for numbers and data
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of working cross-functionally across multiple departments and teams
  • Comfortable presenting ideas to various audiences, including senior management

Please note, the salary range for this position is $110,00-$120,000
