Sr HTML Animator - Bogotá, Colombia

Are you a passionate and experienced HTML Animator looking to make a significant impact? PureRed is currently seeking a Sr HTML Animator to join our team of creatives. The Sr HTML Animator is responsible for creating advanced animated and interactive display units, focusing on developing custom web applications and ensuring beautiful, intuitive user interfaces. Additionally, will provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members.

This is how your day-to-day would look like:

• Lead the creation of new user-facing features and build reusable code and libraries.
• Develop, code, and implement animated and interactive display units with advanced functionalities.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security to ensure high performance.
• Translate complex UI/UX design wireframes into functional code, bridging the gap between visual design and technical implementation.
• Participate in high-level discussions to clarify and shape project requirements and deliverables.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate new knowledge into future projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in animations, interactive displays, and creating customized web applications for various display units, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, and advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as GSAP and ThreeJS.
• 2-year degree or technical school required.
• Solid UX/UI knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead projects, mentor junior team members, and drive technical excellence. 
• Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. 
• Expertise in solving cross-browser compatibility issues and devising effective workarounds.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them. 
• Basic 3D animation knowledge.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a creative and analytical mindset. 
• Excellent leadership and team collaboration skills with outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities. 
• Superior organizational skills with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects concurrently. 
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, meeting tight deadlines and tackling new challenges. 

Although this is a remote position, you should be based in Colombia.
