Job Description

Texada is seeking our next Sales/Account Executive for our Australian Sales team, reporting directly to the Director of Sales, APAC. This dynamic role involves driving the sales of Texada’s industry-leading SaaS products throughout Australia, while collaborating with multiple departments such as marketing, R&D, and product teams. The successful candidate will utilize their strategic acumen, domain expertise, and consultative selling skills to identify key opportunities, build strong business relationships, close new business, renew existing business, and organically grow existing business by adding users.

Work location and travel

  • Australia
  • Remote with up to 30% travel required (mostly in ANZ)

How you will be contributing

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify key targets across the region.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Generate new leads through various channels, including cold calling, email marketing, networking events, and online platforms.
  • Qualify and prioritize leads and prospects based on their needs, buying timeline, budget, and decision-making authority.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients by effectively managing leads and opportunities.

Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:

  • Conduct product presentations and high-level demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections to build trust and confidence in the product's capabilities.
  • Customize product presentations to meet the specific needs and requirements of each prospect.

Negotiation and Closing

  • Collaborate with the sales team and other stakeholders to develop compelling proposals and quotes that address customer requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements to maximize revenue and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Close deals and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.

Account Management and Customer Success

  • Foster long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth onboarding and adoption of the products.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their evolving needs and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in our CRM systems.
  • Generate regular sales reports, including pipeline status, accurate sales forecasts, and revenue projections.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the management team on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.

  • Business-minded with an understanding of contracts, revenue, margins, and developing mutually beneficial deals with clients and closing complex cycles.
  • Extensive software sales experience (SaaS/Cloud) with a background in selling to construction-related industries being a plus.
  • Must have demonstrated success securing Cross Sell, Migrations, Transformations, and Upsell.
