About the role:

As the Director of Product for our global card issuing suite, you will lead the strategy and execution for our card products across markets. Your role involves shaping product vision, driving innovation, and ensuring exceptional product performance through effective team leadership and stakeholder collaboration.

You’re an experienced Product Leader with a broad skill set—driven, analytical, commercial, and strategic. You have a passion for using technology to deliver outstanding card products, features, and experiences for our business. You are resolutely customer-focused and recognize the importance of deeply understanding what matters to customers, constantly obsessing about their needs.

As Director of Product, Cards, you will:

  • Define and drive the product strategy for our card issuing business, aligning with company goals and growth targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and customer needs, using insights to guide product decisions.
  • Manage and mentor senior product managers and cross-functional teams through the product life cycle, ensuring successful delivery and collaboration.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that balances immediate needs with long-term vision, prioritizing initiatives based on business and customer goals.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to align product strategies with business objectives and oversee successful product launches.
  • Drive product innovation and improvements by leveraging internal technologies and partnerships.
  • Oversee product development to ensure a seamless customer experience and high satisfaction.
  • Own key metrics and KPIs, using data to drive growth and optimize product performance.
  • Partner with finance during forecasting cycles and ensure alignment with budget and revenue targets.

What we are looking for:

  • 12+ years in card product management with a proven track record in global markets.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience managing senior product managers.
  • Deep knowledge of card issuing, payments, and financial technology.
  • A visionary with a track record of successful product innovation.
  • Expertise in API-based products and understanding of global payment regulations.
  • Experience in driving revenue growth and understanding card product dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate strategies to all stakeholder levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities effectively.
