About the job

Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you must be vocal in your approach and apply best practices to everything regarding testing. Youll act as a voice to ensure were constantly improving the reliability of our customer journeys and build bridges to create a shift left mindset in both your mission squad and alongside your counterparts across engineering. You will help to define what good quality testing entails, plan out your execution with your peers, and continuously iterate your approach.

This is a remote position in India, we will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About The Role

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain a test automation tool integrating Selenium.
Develop self-healing functionalities for automatically detecting and fixing failing test cases.
Contribute to CI/CD processes by integrating automated tests into deployment pipelines.
Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability of the codebase.
Investigate and reproduce reported issues, providing detailed reports to aid in debugging and resolution.

About You

4+ years of experience as a Software QA Engineer or SDET.
Proficiency in Java, with experience in object-oriented programming and test automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, REST Assured) and experience with Jenkins and Selenium Grid for continuous testing.
Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins or similar tools, and understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Strong communication skills, self-driven attitude, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
