Academic position in Speech Language Pathology (Lecturer or Assistant Professor)

The School of Sciences, Department of Health Sciences seeks to recruit qualified academics at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the following discipline:

• Speech Language Pathology

Duties and responsibilities:

• As described in the University’s Charter by laws

Required qualifications, skills and competences:

• Doctorate degree (PhD with specialization in Communication Disorders)
• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Therapy
• Professional license by Cyprus Registration Council of Speech-Language Pathologists (RCSLP), or qualified to register in Cyprus RCSLP
• Extensive experience in student clinical mentoring and supervision (over 10 years)
• Experience in clinical and/or health administration and management
• Familiarity with the operations and requirements of  the EUC Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic
• Specialization in clinical technology / augmentative communication support
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in Greek and English
• Very good interpersonal skills

Former Teaching and Research Experience:

• For the rank of Lecturer substantial proof of competence in teaching and research is required
• For the rank of Assistant Professor at least 3 years of continuous academic and research experience in renowned academic institutions is required
