Job Title: Automation Technical lead

Experience Range: 6-8 Years 

Location: Bangalore 

Mode of work: Hybrid Mode 

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Technical Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our automation testing efforts, providing technical leadership, and supporting our sales and pre-sales activities. You will work closely with clients to understand their deployment requirements and ensure the successful execution of automated and manual testing processes. Additionally, you will play a critical role in training, first-line support, and maintaining technical setups.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Derive test cases from feature/change descriptions for manual testing
  • Execute manual tests on both remote and local test setups
  • Derive test cases from feature/change descriptions for automated testing
  • Create and maintain test scripts
  • Schedule and execute automated tests
  • Analyze test results and configure test setups
  • Maintain price calculators for sales and pre-sales support
  • Set up Proof of Concept (PoC) systems
  • Align technically with clients about deployment requirements
  • Design and implement rack systems
  • Access and manage remote client machines
  • Perform software installations and updates
  • Configure systems and manage licenses (creating, updating, logging)
  • Troubleshoot issues and gather customer feedback for product improvements
  • Follow up on tickets and communicate with clients and development teams
  • Manage Smart TV farms
  • Produce and maintain training materials
  • Organize training sessions upon request

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in manual and automated testing
  • Proficiency with Appium, and Selenium
  • General knowledge about smart TVs, cameras, and set-top boxes
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as LUA, and notions of JavaScript and Python
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, including test plans and ticket flow
  • Proficiency with remote access tools (RDP, VNC, TeamViewer)
  • Familiarity with Wibu licensing tools
  • Strong skills in MS Office
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer communication abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to produce and maintain training materials
  • Strong technical leadership skills with a focus on new deployments.
