Your missions

Position Title: Accountant

Reports To: Partner, Partner Team

Primary Relationships: Partner Team

Date: July 2024

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records for hospitality and property-related transactions

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

  • Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment verification, and collections

  • Conduct regular audits of financial transactions to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

  • Prepare and submit tax filings, including sales tax, occupancy tax, and property tax

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for hospitality and property-related operations

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as property managers and department heads, to provide financial insights and support decision-making

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and industry trends


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably with exposure to hospitality and property accounting

  • Proficient in accounting software, Google Suite and MS Office Suite

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
