Management Consultant (Multiple Levels) —Remote or Hybrid (2 days on-site at Mark Center in Alexandria).

 

BizFirst is assisting our client with recruiting a Full-time Management Consultant – Remote OR Hybrid (2 days on-site at Mark Center in Alexandria). This position offers opportunities at various levels, from entry-level to senior levels, allowing for professional growth and development. Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.


What will you do


Conducts organizational studies and evaluations, designs systems and procedures, and conducts work simplification and measurement studies. Prepares reports, procedures, guidelines, briefings, and related documentation to assist management in operating more efficiently. Performs data collection, interviewing, data modeling, project testing, and creation of performance measurements to support project objectives. Develops business methods for problem solving, process change, and solutions implementation ensuring enterprise-wide integration. Guides and assists clients through a wide range of management, organizational, and business improvement initiatives. Prepares background papers, briefings, and speeches; creates web and portal content; and supports customers in developing and maintaining strategy, doctrine, standards, policies, and procedures.

1. Management Consultant-I (MC-I)


Qualifications:
  • Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 2 years’ general experience
  • Applies fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on work assignments.
  • Performs work that requires practical experience and training under supervision.


2. Management Consultant-II (MC-II)


Qualifications:
  • Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years’ general experience
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.


3. Management Consultant-III (MC-III)


Qualifications:
  • Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 10 years’ general experience
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
  • Plans and leads major work assignments, evaluates performance results, and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • Directs activities of more junior personnel or other staff as necessary.
  • May supervise others.


4. Management Consultant-IV (MC-IV)


Qualifications:
  • Active Interim / Completed Secret Clearance or higher
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
  • 12 years’ general experience
  • Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or work assignments.
  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge and extensive experience in the development of solutions, recommendations, or outcomes.
  • Decision making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
  • Directs the activities of more junior personnel or other staff as necessary.
  • May supervise others.
