What’s the Job?

The Salesforce Technical Implementation Lead oversees implementation teams responsible for configuring the Novidea platform to customer requirements. As part of a delivery project team, you’ll use your Salesforce expertise and background to provide leadership and guidance to Salesforce Configuration Specialists in their efforts to successfully implement our solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct capacity plans, prioritize workloads to ensure adherence to deadlines, and utilize teams’ productivity and efficiency
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to team members to help foster their professional development
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices are followed and provide guidance on tickets when stuck and for better understanding
  • Analyze and suggest Salesforce solution approach to business requirements
  • Encourage continuous learning and stay updated on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and project managers to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge in Salesforce and related technologies
  • Participate in project steering committees and ceremonies to represent the teams and region
  • Clear roadblocks for team and collaborate with leadership team for resource assistance when needed
  • Provide hands-on technical implementation alongside team as needed (player-coach)


What You Bring

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification a must
  • Experience leading a team of at least two for at least one year 
  • Experience leading a Salesforce Implementation Team for at least two years
  • Considerable experience with Salesforce project management (2 years)
  • Considerable experience in agile project management with the ability to break down projects into manageable technical tasks
  • Skill in team communication and transparency to include the sharing of accurate and insightful updates with the team and/or management regarding progress and challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Very high attention to detail and ability to identify bugs or flaws
  • Ability to be a creative, collaborative team player in a fast-paced, agile work environment
  • Extensive hands-on experience with designing/building declarative and/or Apex-driven solutions
  • Ability to work varying hours flexible to the needs of the business and customers which are more aligned to Eastern and Central Time Zones


If You Bring These, Even Better!

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, etc.)
  • Proven track record with Salesforce Automation Tools or Experience Cloud
  • Experience with and understanding of the US insurance market, specifically P&C
  • Foundational understanding of the policy lifecycle: quoting, underwriting, policy administration and renewals
  • Experience with Agency Management Systems, Policy Administration Systems, Claims Management Systems and/or other insurance management systems
  • Skill in and experience using Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working in a startup
