Your impact:

Conduct structural analyses, develop calculations, and prepare contract documents (plans, specifications,
and construction cost estimates) in accordance with state and local agency requirements. Perform
analysis and design of transportation structures using respective codes. Provide guidance to other design
team members, junior engineers, and draft persons on a project basis. Review contract documents and
submittals for compliance with engineering principles and owner standards and guides. Participate in
constructability reviews regarding structural design and support construction by reviewing field change
requests and nonconformance reports.**This position allows to work a hybrid telecommuting office (3
days) with partial work from home (2 days)**

 

Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent and 5 years
of relevant experience in the Bridge EIT or similar positions. In alternative, we accept a Master’s degree
in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent and 3 years of relevant
experience in the Bridge EIT or similar positions. In addition, we require candidates to possess PE
license; four (4) years of experience in bridge design and transportation projects; experience with DOT,
AASHTO, and AREMA standards; experience with MicroStation and STAAD software; experience in using
industry accepted engineering and bridge design software; experience in preparing contract documents,
including drawings and specifications per project requirements; experience in steel and concrete bridge
design and plan preparation; experience in bridge design, modeling and analysis software; experience in
LARSA 4D, CSI Bridge or other 3D FEM structural modeling software; and experience with structural
engineering and independent preparation and completion of design contract documents for transportation
projects. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.

Work Environment
