Job Summary

FLASH is seeking to bring on an eager, ready-to-learn Staff Accountant to support the Controller

on the financial close and carry out successful reconciliations for our key GL accounts.

This is a REMOTE role in the Dominican Republic - it must be located in DR

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent or in the process of obtaining a degree in accounting.

BA/BS degree and at least 2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience

General understanding of GAAP

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookup formulas

Excellent verbal and written English skills

Knowledgeable in NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities...

Responsible for preparing various journal entries for any assigned ledger accounts for monthly close

Performing monthly account analysis and reconciliation

Posting monthly, quarterly, and yearly (if any) accruals

Oversee financial transactions and process invoices in a timely manner

Assist in month-end activities

Assist in financial audits

Assess the current processes for certain tasks and implement process improvements and automation (if possible)
