Your missions

Harbor is seeking a Consultant for its Content Management & Collaboration practice, focusing on iManage or NetDocuments design and implementation. Specifically, we are seeking a high energy team-oriented individual to assist our law firm and corporate legal department clients with deploying effective iManage and NetDocuments technology solutions that will improve information governance and collaboration; and consult as a subject matter expert in these technologies and processes.  This is a fully remote position that can be worked from the USA or Canada, Eastern or Central time zone preferred.

As a consultant you will be responsible for the following:  

  • Work with clients to install, upgrade, customize, support and maintain the iManage or NetDocuments legal document management (DMS) system in cloud-based environments. 
  • Design, implement and configure core iManage DMS or NetDocuments and related applications. 
  • Perform data analysis, gather, and document user and functional requirements 
  • Develop and execute test scripts. 
  • Strong understanding of legal workspace design, document management workflows, integrations with other systems, and data governance. 
  • Advanced troubleshooting on iManage or NetDocuments desktop add-ins and cloud platform. 
  • Perform system administrative functions. 
  • Maintain work-plans, develop concise and complex analyses, and prepare high quality deliverables in Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Visio applications. 
  • Perform business analyst functions and create succinct and logically structured written reports. 
  • Participate in client presentations and client meetings. 
  • Build client relationship skills. 
  • Work collaboratively with fellow consultants and client teams. Shadow and support lead consultants with project tasks and perform tasks as delegated by them. 
  • Seek out opportunities for making additional contributions within Harbor. 
  • Absorb industry and practice knowledge with a propensity towards learning new skills. 

Qualifications: 

  • BA, BBA or BS in Business, Computer Science or Engineering preferred 
  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience within a consulting firm, technology vendor, or internal legal role. Internship/relevant work experience within a professional services or consulting firm is preferred. 
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Exceptional technology skills. Trained and certified on iManage, NetDocuments and related tools like Litera CAM. Deep knowledge of these platforms and involved in several mid to large deployments, especially cloud deployments. 
  • High degree of comfort with using Microsoft products (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, M365/Teams, Power Platform). Ability to produce crisp, compelling, and well laid out documents. 
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.  
  • Polished and professional attitude and demeanor with excellent client service mindset 
  • Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, to various levels of audiences 
  • Self-starter with an exceptional ability to multi-task. Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high pressure and changing environments 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and to build relationships 
  • Intellectual curiosity and willingness to take feedback 
  • Have permanent US work authorization 
  • Willing to travel up to 15% and able to support clients outside business hours when needed.
