Summary:

The Principal Integration Architect is responsible for the designing and delivery technical solutions to successfully meet our customers outcomes. Typical projects include business software implementation and workflow consulting, integration strategy architecture and design, development, testing and implementation of application integrations. Additional duties typically include serving as a stakeholder for product features and providing integration and workflow subject matter expertise for support, product management, sales, marketing, and training initiatives.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as technical and lead for assigned Professional Services projects which requires independent scoping, design, and development to meet customer expectations
  • Consultant with customers on their workflows, create integration solution diagrams and testing plans
  • Work closely with customers to ensure the successful delivery of their solution
  • Responsible for working closely with assigned Project Managers on multiple projects
  • Serve as technical owner accountable for project outcomes for assigned billable work
  • Participate in Professional Services team Continuous Improvement initiatives on an as requested basis
  • Work closely with Professional Services Manager and Sales to assist with proposals, quotes and documentation as required
  • Participate in formal education program curriculum development, content creation, training delivery, and certification evaluations on an as-needed basis
  • Serve as liaison between sales accounts team and the product end-users, ensuring the accounts team is aware of opportunities, risks, and overall customer satisfaction

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree in an Engineering, IT or Computer Science related discipline, or a combination of relevant technical and management experience of 4+ years
  • 5+ years building custom Rhapsody integrations in a healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in JavaScript within Rhapsody
  • 1-2 years experience with REST API integrations
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach towards problem-solving and is self-sufficient in resolving tasks independently without guidance.
  • Accountability to be able to work within a small group of stakeholders and senior consultants
  • Demonstrates proficiency in processing and deciphering data from diverse sources, skillfully detecting correlations and patterns, and drawing causal inferences. Possesses a creative mindset, capable of generating multiple and innovative solutions, systematically evaluating each option, and ultimately selecting the most suitable approach
  • Assumes accountability for managing their own productivity and efficiently utilizing time. Possesses a keen sense of situational awareness and can identify opportunities to contribute value without explicit instruction.
  • Proficient in identifying and executing strategies to optimize circumstances and enhance outcomes.
  • Exhibits a high degree of analytical acumen by effectively identifying and isolating critical elements within complex problems and scenarios.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of billable project experience for integration projects
  • Experience with HL7 v3, X12, and complex XML
  • Experience using TLS for encryption and authentication
  • Experience with HTTPS, Kafka, and AMQP communication protocols
