In this role, you will be part of a driven, fun, collaborative team responsible for the design, communication, execution, analysis, and change management for compensation programs and practices. If you enjoy the detailed and technical aspects of compensation analysis but also enjoy thinking outside of the box and coming up with new ideas, this is the role for you! 

The ideal candidate will drive our competitive edge by designing and implementing innovative compensation programs. You’ll fit right in with your passion for people, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking while you navigate a our rapidly changing and growing environment. You will collaborate closely with HR partners, Finance, and senior leadership to ensure our compensation programs align seamlessly with business objectives, fostering a culture of high performance and talent retention.

What you'll do:

  • Equity compensation administration and market analysis. 

  • Preparation of monthly equity grant files for compensation committee approval. 

  • Analysis, monitoring and reporting of equity pool health and projections. 

  • Gathering data from market-based compensation surveys and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.

  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.

  • Monitor and analyze all compensation program aspects to gauge plan design effectiveness.

  • Function as a compensation partner to address compensation-related issues and inquiries from our Titans.

  • Assist with the execution of compensation cycles across the organization, including; annual compensation and promotion cycles, annual equity cycle, annual company bonus program, etc.  

  • Partner with HR stakeholders to implement employee communications related to total compensation programs.

  • Define and build global compensation policies and guidelines. 

  • Identify areas of process optimization to support future growth and scalability. 

  • Conduct regular compliance checks on programs and identify any areas of risks or improvements (e.g. emerging trends/ issues/ best practices) that need to be addressed.
     

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years compensation experience.

  • Experience supporting equity programs (public company experience is an asset).

  • Experience supporting global compensation programs and design. 

  • Advanced Google Suite/Microsoft Office skills (you’re considered the excel/sheets guru at your company).

  • Experience with HRIS and Compensation Software implementation and administration (Workday and Payfactors an asset)

  • Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and the ability to multitask. 

  • Strong communication skills; ability to simplify the complex and tell a story with data and insights.
