As our Cyber Security technical Leader, you will be at the forefront of shaping and fortifying our cybersecurity landscape. How you will do it?

Technology Strategist: Work with your peers to develop and articulate a forward-thinking cybersecurity technology strategy that aligns with the evolving threat landscape and organizational objectives.

Change Catalyst: Partner with the CISO and IT leadership to lead the charge in transforming our cybersecurity practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Break down silos and collaborate seamlessly across departments, ensuring cybersecurity is integrated into every aspect of our operations.

Versatility: Draw on a diverse set of experiences to address multifaceted challenges in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape, including areas such as IT, OT and Product security.

Technology Champion: With a deep technical understanding of the various cybersecurity domains, drive innovation in cybersecurity technologies, methodologies, and practices, staying ahead of emerging threats. Be seen as a technical expert and seamlessly combine technical acumen with business acumen.

Team Building: Build a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals. Influence positively via direct and indirect reporting structure Deliver mentoring, training, and career development programs to support our high-performance culture.

What we look for

Reporting to the VP, Global CISO, this technical leadership role will be accountable for a significant portfolio of end to end security technology roadmap, security engineering projects, solution design and delivery, people leadership, and providing insight into the strategic direction of the global technical security controls architecture.

  • Enterprise-scale security solution design and hands-on consultation across a broad spectrum of domains.
  • Lead a technical team of security engineers to build and deliver security solutions and act as mentor for the team in their professional development and contribution to Clarios
  • Build relationships with peers who own and run various technology platforms. Understand risks and gaps with security and in a collaborative way identify areas of opportunity.
  • Chart the course for future programs, providing expert input into the strategic development process, and maximizing return on investment of security technologies.
  • Work with Audit, Risk management functions to articulate cyber technical risks in simple business language
  • Ownership of security solutions from inception through their transition into standard operations and maintenance.
  • Identify enhancements to existing security architecture and drive roadmaps for continuous improvement.
  • Through continuous learning and research, have a pulse on where the industry is headed and be the internal voice to bring changes to Clarios security posture
  • Partner with other functions within the Clarios Information Security organization and other teams like Global infrastructure and Global applications to maximize the value and impact of technical security controls.
  • Build, implement and perform key security assurance activities like controls testing procedure, Penetration tests and technical assessments regularly
  • Provide counsel to CISO and IT leadership on technology risks and gaps and identify solutions that are ‘fit for purpose’ for Clarios.
  • Represent Global Information Security in key working groups like ‘Architecture review board’, Change advisory board etc. as appropriate
  • Ideate, design and execute workshops and other learning opportunities to teach IT partners at Clarios in cybersecurity topics

What we look for

Required

  • Enterprise-scale security solutions design and delivery.
  • Bachelors degree in Information technology or related field desired
  • Proven track record of driving transformative change in cybersecurity roles
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to inspire and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability of critical thinking to take on complex problems and solve.
  • Innovative mindset with the ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team of high-performing technical professionals.
  • 7+ years' experience in information security, technical design of security solutions
  • 5+ years experience in leadership role, managing people, projects and budgets.'

Preferred

  • CISSP or equivalent security certifications
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies in three or more of the following domains:
    • Network Security
    • Endpoint Security
    • Incident Response
    • Security Analytics
    • Application Security
    • Data Protection
    • Security Assessment
    • Email & Web Security

  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following emerging security domains:
    • Cloud Security
    • Internet-Of-Things
    • Mobile Device Security
    • Application Security & DevOps - Scripting, Integration & Automation
    • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements.
    • Highly collaborative, successful in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment.
