The Director of Life Science Business Development is a key role for Eko Health’s high-growth Life Science business unit. The primary focus of the role is driving pipeline expansion and sales with pharma and medical device companies. However, given the relatively early nature of this high-growth business unit, the role requires a strategic skillset to drive continued evolution of the Life Science go-to-market strategy. The role requires deep experience and familiarity with pharmaceutical clinical development/clinical trials, commercialization, medical affairs, and business development. Furthermore, the Director brings with them a deep set of existing relationships across major pharma/med device companies and CROs.
As aDirector of Life Science Business Development at Eko, You Will:Monetizing Eko assets and capabilities in pharma/med device clinical development, commercial, and medical affairs strategies.Developing a repeatable business model related to the clinical trials market.Securing large, strategic deals tied to pharma/med device commercialization strategies.Forming R&D partnerships to advance the algorithm portfolio.Selling Eko Low EF screening associated with a large, Phase 3 clinical trial.Working with the Life Science Strategic Analyst to build a database of targets aligned with Eko’s value proposition.Developing a database of all Phase 1 and 2 molecules associated with respiratory conditions (e.g., COPD, ILD, IPF) with key decision-makers.Collaborating with the Eko sales operations team to evolve processes and tools related to Life Science commercial activities.Developing a template for proposals related to supporting clinical trials with SENSORA.Translating market feedback and insights into an evolved go-to-market plan.Refining how Eko SENSORA is positioned for clinical trials.Working with Eko enterprise marketing to evolve marketing materials and execute marketing strategies and tactical plans.Co-developing a webinar series that builds awareness of the challenges Eko’s technology addresses.Aligning market needs with potential product enhancements to expand commercial opportunities.Partnering with the Eko Product lead to define product requirements that would generate new revenue streams upon delivery.As a Director of Life Science Business Development at Eko, You Have:Bachelor or higher degree in a scientific field required.8 years of experience at a pharmaceutical, medical device, or life science technology company.Experience in life science product development from concept through launch and scaled implementation.Experience working in complex, dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams.Experience working with partners, including C-suite leaders and policy makers, or speaking to external audiences.Benefits and Perks We Offer:Eko was recognized by “Great Place to Work” in 2020 and 2021Paid-time offMedical/Dental/Vision, Disability + Life InsuranceOne Medical membershipParental Leave401k MatchingWork from home equipment stipendFlexible schedulesWellness programs (Wellness Wednesdays, Time off)Wellness perks (Headspace, Ginger, Aaptiv, Physera) Learning and Development stipendEko is elevating the way clinicians detect and monitor cardiac and respiratory disease by bringing together advanced sensors, patient and provider software, and AI-powered analysis.
