- Lead execution and oversight of projects on steam turbine generator equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Direct and oversee repair or inspection procedures as the onsite technical lead.
- Recognize, Predict and document potential failures and future outage recommendations
- Pull, review and interpret prints, such as manufacturing drawings, P&IDs and schematic drawings
- Participate as a Service Team member dedicated to Safety metrics.
- Pre-outage planning
- Execute project management and technical leader duties.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve with the support of engineering to resolve customer issues
- Perform other duties as assigned and support business needs when not on field assignment
- Willingness and ability to travel as required by field assignments
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university, with 5+ years of relevant professional experience, or, a High School Diploma / GED, with 7+ years of experience in a Field Services role within the Power Generation industry.
- Successful completion of required training programs is a minimum requirement
- Ability to gain unescorted access to a nuclear power facility
- Ability to travel 80% annually both domestically and internationally
Desired Characteristics
- 5+ years of experience with Turbine generator maintenance or power plant equipment installation and/or commissioning experience
- Demonstrated progressive, responsible experience with various types of turbine generator equipment and site accountabilities
- The knowledge and skill to oversee outage management
- Experience and training on GE, Alstom, Siemens or other OEM equipment is preferred
- Good attitude to manage relationships with customers, concerning technical and contractual aspects.
- Follow up all quality aspects according GE QA manual and procedures.
- Working knowledge and application of EHS rules.
- Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

You may receive specialized classroom and laboratory training to prepare you for your assignment. You will be expected to complete periodic training to meet competency requirements for the position. If hired in the U.S.: the salary range for this position is $72,400 - $100,00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for variable incentive compensation.
