Position Overview:


The Director of Technology Innovation will spearhead the advancement and strategic application of our proprietary eSpeed platform, serving both our internal teams and customers. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive technological growth, align product development with industry trends, and ensure the eSpeed platform meets evolving customer needs.

The Successful Candidate Will Possess:


· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and technology innovation or related experience.

· Proven leadership experience, managing both internal and overseas teams.

· Strong understanding of industry trends and technological advancements.

· Excellent project management and strategic planning skills.

· Deep experience working with PaaS (platform-as-a-service) tools and platforms

· Follows an Agile project management approach to Software Development

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.


Ideal Candidate:


· Will have worked in the telecommunications or utility industry before

· Is experienced in developing modern UI/UX front-ends

· Will have an existing ecosystem of 3rd party vendors and partners that can be leveraged to further the company’s goals


Key Responsibilities:


What You Will Be Doing:


1. Leadership and Management


· Lead and manage a team of internal and overseas developers and programmers.

· Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.


2. Technology Strategy and Innovation


· Develop and implement a technology innovation strategy for the eSpeed platform.

· Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.

· Identify and incorporate relevant innovations into the eSpeed platform.


3. Customer Focus


· Understand and anticipate customer needs, translating them into platform enhancements.

· Ensure the eSpeed platform delivers exceptional value to customers.

· Facilitate customer feedback loops to continuously improve the platform.

· Attend and participate as needed in customer meetings and tradeshow events.

· Collaborates with customers to beta test enhancements and develop requirements.


4. Product Development


· Oversee the development and deployment of new features and functionalities in the eSpeed platform.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.

· Maintain a high standard of software quality and performance.

· Develop, maintain and report product roadmap to senior management

· Ensure development standards are built with best-practices across the various business units and disciplines 

· Evolve existing architecture into a consolidated and streamlined solution for all customers (single tenant)


5. Internal Collaboration


· Work closely with internal stakeholders to align the eSpeed platform with business goals.

· Provide training and support to internal teams on platform usage and benefits.


6. Project Management


· Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

· Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.


7. Compliance and Security


· Ensure the eSpeed platform complies with industry standards and regulations.

· Implement robust security measures to protect customer data and platform integrity.
