Job Overview:

As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintaining IT infrastructure for our organization. You will be responsible for handling Level 2 & 3 technical issues, primarily through remote assistance and phone support. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Identity services, Teams, and Intune. Additionally, you will design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, manage Windows and Linux servers, and administer various databases like MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL.

Job Description:
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users over the phone and via remote access tools related to Level 2 & 3 technical issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365 services, ensuring effective deployment and ongoing maintenance of applications like Exchange Online, Identity, Teams and Intune.
  • Design and implement Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, including virtual environments and network configurations.
  • Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers for security, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Design, configure, and manage networking solutions, such as firewall appliances, wireless access points, network switches, VPNs, and intrusion protection systems.




Requirements
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Intune, and Group Policy. - Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating Azure with on-premises Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and VLANs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Expertise in administering MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL databases.
  • Familiarity with web portals and CMS systems.
  • Experience with virtual desktop infrastructure, such as Azure Virtual Desktops and Citrix Virtual Desktops, is a plus.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), such as Moodle and Canvas, is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash).
