Working closely with the CDE-R development team, support the ongoing development of semantic capabilities to facilitate CDE discovery by topic, disease area, or domain.
Features will likely include:
Ensure that CDE-R policies, procedures, and functionality support user and stakeholder needs, especially the NIH CDE Governance Committee
Create new content or update/maintain current content, e.g., medical editing, including copy editing, for content in NLM biomedical information resources and services.
Supporting indexing activities (e.g., using MeSH vocabulary terms by a subject matter expert or by an automated tool), write abstracts/annotations of newsletters, technical reports, assessments, guidelines, books, journal articles, webinars, videos, podcasts, or other sources of literature for inclusion in NLM biomedical information resources and services.
Aligning CDEs with existing standards and terminologies, such as USCDI, LOINC, SNOMED CT, FHIR, etc.; monitoring standards updates to ensure that changes to terminology, value sets, and other standards are reflected in Repository content.
Minimum Education: PhD, MD, DO, or DVM degree. MS degree with four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted.

The annual salary range for this position is $183,200.00-$274,800.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
