Job description

Sincere Foundation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our team. This person will wake up every day and think about how to build Sincere Foundation for long-term success. You will work alongside our Executive Director to manage our grant cycle, optimize operations, and increase awareness of the Foundation. The ideal candidate is versatile and excited to be involved in all aspects of the Foundation from grant management to marketing and more. This is an exciting time to join us: In 2023, Sincere Foundation awarded $260,000 to twenty organizations in Massachusetts that support food security, housing stability, and safe spaces.  

In this role, you will: 

  • Manage the grant review and award process, field questions from applicants, and provide recommendations to the review committee
  • Identify and implement a grant management platform to streamline applications and communications
  • Cultivate relationships with grant recipients, coordinate site visits, and collaborate on joint marketing opportunities
  • Create and execute a compelling email newsletter program (build the list, source content, write copy, manage deployment, track metrics)
  • Build an engaging and inspiring social media presence to grow awareness for the Foundation
  • Represent the Foundation at community events, meetings, and conferences; and promote awareness of our mission and opportunities to submit grant proposals

You have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines
  • Passion for nonprofits and Sincere Foundation’s mission
  • Less than a 45 minute commute to Framingham, MA
