Sr. Accountant

Responsible for accurate Monthly End Closing (MEC), Internal Controls, Tax accruals and Filing, any Accounting related projects, as a right hand of Chief Accountant, with positive attitude and growth mind-set. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, proactive with strong attention to details.

Monthly Closing

Responsible for Month End Closing (MEC) process to ensure accurate entries according with Red Bull Accounting policies/IFRS/local GAAP on timely manner, as right hand for Chief Accountant.

Co-work/Communicate with Controlling (FPA) team and stakeholders to ensure accuracy of closing.

Accounts Payable/Fixed Assets

Supports & guide to Accountants for Billing and Accounts Payable/ Fixed Assets.

Play a key role for maintaining and enhancement of Internal Controls, making sure standard operational procedures and manuals.

Audit

Play a key role for responding External/ Internal Audit requirements to ensure clean reports and Tax Accrual and filings.

Internal Control

Lead projects with Chief Accountant, for enhancement of internal controls, local SOP(Standard Operational Process) manuals.

5+ years of relevant accounting experience (Experience in Gaishikei would be a plus). 
Japanese - Native level, English - Business level (reading, writing and speaking is required).
Broad experiences in Accounting/ Closing process (AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Tax filing and accruals).
IT literate and global standard ERP knowledge (SAP equivalent such as Oracle). 
Excellent PC skills especially Excel knowledge (Pivot table, VLOOKUP).
Knowledge of local tax regulations especially withholding tax, local GAAP and IFRS are required.
Bookkeeper Certification (Nissho Boki Kentei) 2nd grade or above level required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a great team player.
Effective communication skills and be able to communicate in non ”accounting” language.
Ability and a keen interest in problem solving.
