Your missions

Electronics Technician – Marine Equipment (REMOTE) Description

We are seeking an Offshore Electronics Technician with experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing geophysical, hydrographic, and oceanographic equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair electronic and software programming issues
Contribute to offshore and nearshore marine survey projects
Assist with in-house equipment bench testing, repairs, and regular maintenance
Perform mobilization check-out of marine geophysical and hydrographic equipment and demobilization check-in of equipment in the resources management system
Summarize service and maintenance reports and requests for parts and marine survey equipment

Electronics Technician Qualifications

3 years of relevant work experience as an offshore electronics technician
Understanding of offshore marine survey operations, repair, and maintenance of geophysical
Working knowledge of operations and maintenance of hydrographic and oceanographic equipment including multi-beam echosounders, SVPs, CTDs, and ADCPs
Experience cable splicing and soldering, use of diagnostic equipment, and serial/UDP/TCP communications
50%+ travel to marine survey projects both within the US and overseas will be required
