About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing general contractor headquartered in Chicago. They are looking to add an assistant project manager with K-12 project experience to join their team. They value employees who are ambitious, entrepreneurial, and self starters, and look for long term fits. This client generates $60-80m per year annually. This role will be mainly remote.

Job Description

  • Help project manager develop detailed project plans, including time-lines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Only on-site one day a week, in office for other 4.
  • Ability to estimate during the project
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion
  • Ensure that projects are completed within the scope, time-line, and budget outlined in the project plan
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project schedules, and progress reports
  • Report directly into project manager

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
  • 1+ years of experience in Construction
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients
  • JOC experience is required
