Who is Goodsted?

Goodsted's vision is to empower collaboration for social and environmental progress. We are a platform that connects individuals who want to share/volunteer their skills & expertise with non-profits and impact organisations. Through our digital platform, projects and organisations can post skilled based volunteer needs and find the right person to support their project. Which organisation will you be supporting?

Walk.Listen.Create is the home of walking artists and artist walkers. walk

• listen
• create operates on a plain that is bounded by sound, or audio, place, or location, and technology.
  
  

They aim to provide, or facilitate, additional opportunities throughout the year for individuals to learn about, participate in, and create sound walks.

They map, establish, and facilitate a global community of creators, collectively building a crowdsourced database of walking pieces, while providing a platform with tools and information allowing for the creation of sound walks, with a focus on new and innovative evolutions in the field.

They bring the art form of 'sound walking' into the public's consciousness.

What do they want to achieve?

An integrated richer archive of walking art.

What do they need help with?

They have a public archive of around 800 pieces of walking art, the vast majority submitted by individual artists. They also have a list of older works that they would like to include in this public archive.

What do they have in place?

An existing archive of walking art consisting of around 800 pieces.

A spreadsheet identifying around 150 older pieces.

A separate collection of historical walking art.

Time Commitment

This role requires a time commitment of 40 hours
