Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Manager to lead our HR Operations and Onboarding Teams. The successful candidate will have a strong background in HRIS management, experience with HR technology, and a proven track record of managing a team. The HRIS Manager will be responsible for the strategy, development, and implementation of our Onboarding System and the day-to-day management of our core HR system.

  • Responsible for HR systems in North America (USA & Canada)
  • Oversees configuration, development, maintenance, and upgrades of HRIS data, services platform, applications, and other systems used to manage human resources processes
  • Provides HRIS support, configuration, and maintenance, including running reports, auditing, researching, and resolving HRIS data issues as they arise
  • Manage the human resource information systems and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and improve user experience; gather requirements from functional team to gain knowledge of business processes to contribute to definition, design, and documentation of processes
  • Act as a liaison with other departments requiring HRIS support
  • Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on the HRIS
  • Accountable for HRIS security and data integrity; conduct regular audits of HR data
  • Responsible for managing the HR Operations & Onboarding teams, creating effective training programs, competency measures, and performance evaluation standards
  • Maintain data integrity and ensures compliance with data protection laws
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to bridge management and employee relations by addressing HR inquiries, concerns, or other issues
  • Assist in identifying areas for greater operational efficiency and streamlining processes by leveraging HR technology
  • Ensure legal compliance of I-9 forms and provide support with issues or inquiries
  • Ensure annual compliance reports (AAP, EEO-1, CA EEO-1, VETS-4212) are completed and filed by the designated deadlines
  • Manage companywide unemployment claims processing and appeals
  • Provide ad hoc employee data reports to HR Team, Managers, Executive Leadership, Finance, etc.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external clients

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior experience working with ADP WFN is required
  • 3+ years people management required
  • Experience rolling out new systems
  • Leadership qualities that will excite and energize a team
  • Project management and the ability to influence others to keep projects on track
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience designing and implementing multiple, complex, and diverse HR system solutions including HRIS system evaluation, implementation, application support, process improvement, end-user support, troubleshooting and management of HRIS systems to resolve complex business issues
  • Knowledge of application trends in Human Resources Experience monitoring, managing, and auditing HR processes for compliance with federal, state, and local laws, labor agreements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership skills
