Your missions

This position is based in Northwest Arkansas. Preference will be given to candidates already located in that surrounding area.  

 

The North America Client Executive will report directly to the Global Client Director to form a sales team responsible for supporting our client in Bentonville, AR. This is a direct customer facing / direct contributor role with emphasis on developing new customer contacts within existing account as part of a sales team. The position requires an elevated level of daily activities including prospecting, briefings, workshops, studies, demonstrations, and proposalsThe ideal candidate will be a self-driven, highly motivated salesperson seeking an individual contributor support role in the sales organization.  

 

Core capabilities should include: 

  • Solution selling experience. 

  • Proven ability to work with customers to develop strong, trust-based relationships. 

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate resources to deliver a regular cadence of high-quality sales, service, and support. 

  • Must be a problem solver with the ability to adapt and learn new concepts quickly. 

  • Ability to self-assess and execute personal development plans to develop new skills. 

 

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Identify new sales opportunities through comprehensive knowledge of the customer’s business strategy. 

  • Work with existing and prospective customer contacts at all levels within the organization. 

  • Develop & implement account strategy in collaboration with members of the Lexmark account team. 

  • Prospecting, strategic questioning, and strong presentation skills. 

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects. 

  • Build and maintain a network of customer relationships to maintain & grow Lexmark's position with the customer by developing relationships with key contacts. 

  • Work with multiple departments within Lexmark to escalate (as necessary) and resolve concerns or issues from the customer. 

  • Acquire detailed knowledge of Lexmark hardware offerings and programs to provide expert recommendations in support of sales opportunities and sales goals. 

  • The minimum expectation is to achieve annual revenue objectives. 

 

 

Job Requirements/Skills Needed:  

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience. 

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in communication, sales, or marketing. 

 

  • Preferred experience with computer, software, SaaS and other IT-related sales activities. 

  • Preferred experience with Microsoft applications, especially D365 for CRM and forecasting. 

  • Must be confident, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and results-driven to achieve sales goals. 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Written and verbal fluency in English. 

  • Clear, concise, and professional communicator. 

  • Experience and proficiency with presentation and office productivity applications including Office 365. 

  • Understanding of the sales process (funnel/sales stage development). 

  • Ability to maintain composure to succeed in difficult conversations and escalations with large enterprise customer contacts.
