PMI is looking for an experienced Global Brand Manager who can lead in the efforts to shape and elevate the perception of Project Management Institute. The role will be leading the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to increase awareness, engagement, and support for our for-purpose brand.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Brand Strategy: Work with the Director, Brand + Product Marketing to develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and values. Define and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity that resonates with our target audience.
- Brand Awareness: Create and implement initiatives to increase awareness of our organization's brand, mission, and impact. Build plans and tentpole initiatives leveraging various marketing channels and tactics, such as digital marketing, content marketing, events, and partnerships, to reach a broader audience.
- Perception Building: Enhance the perception of our brand by crafting compelling narratives, stories, and messaging that highlight our achievements, impact, and values. Ensure that all marketing efforts reinforce our unique value proposition and mission.
- Integrated Marketing Initiatives + Campaign Management: Create a holistic and full-year view of integrated marketing initiatives for the brand. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns that encompass various channels such as digital marketing, traditional advertising, social media, and events.
- Category Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, nonprofit and not-for-profit developments, and competitor activities. Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making. Collaborate with the Market Research team on the ongoing Brand Health tracking program.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget for brand-related initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and brand perception. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to achieve desired outcomes.
- Product Marketing: In collaboration with Director, maintain marketing oversight of product portfolio, acting as subject matter expert, ensuring all key value propositions and product features accurately represent and communicate to the right stakeholders.
Role Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 7-10 years of progressive marketing experience, with a proven track record in brand management, strategic marketing, and leadership roles.
