ABOUT PRECISION DIAGNOSTICS:  

Precision Diagnostics, based in San Diego, California is a fast-growing clinical laboratory that specializes in providing quantitative drug testing, primarily for the purpose of helping physicians monitor their patients undergoing treatment for pain or substance abuse. Precision’s objective is to improve patient adherence/compliance with their prescription regimen and protect medical practices from liability.  

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Revenue Cycle System Manager to oversee and optimize our Medics Premier billing software system. You will play a critical role in ensuring the system operates efficiently, adheres to applicable compliance regulations, and maximizes accurate claims processing and revenue capture.

OUTCOMES:

  • Oversee the configuration, updates, and modifications of the company’s revenue cycle software system to measurably improve claims processing.
  • Develop reporting tools and implement strategies with the Revenue Cycle management team to optimize both system and team performance to improve collection rates, reduce revenue leakage, decrease denial rates, and minimize Days Sales Outstanding.
  • Analyze system data to identify opportunities for improving current workflows, increasing operational efficiency, and minimizing errors.
  • Stay informed of industry regulations and coding standards thereby ensuring compliant billing practices.
  • Conduct regular internal claim audits to maintain adherence to applicable payer policies.
  • Perform ongoing trend analysis of payer adjudication to ensure that reimbursement is in line with expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with members of the revenue cycle, contracting, compliance and information systems teams.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff on billing system functionalities and best practices.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the revenue cycle management system.

  WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, preferably with ADS Billing software experience.
  • Proven understanding of healthcare billing and coding regulations (e.g., ICD-10, CPT).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic understanding of database management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Become fluent in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office635) applications assigned to your role. Common applications include: Teams, Word, Excel, Tasks and Planner
  • Complete training in a timely manner that is assigned to you. Training is primarily conducted via Microsoft Learn modules and is assigned based on:
    • Position/Job Role – Most positions require a core set of Microsoft 365 working knowledge
    • Project Role – As member of a project team, you may be required to complete training before you can engage with the project team or commence project work
    • Ad-Hoc – Based on review of your performance via support requests, training modules will be assigned to increase skills

ADDITIONAL JOB CONSIDERATIONS:

  • This position is Full-Time and exempt
  • Annual salary pay range is $75,000-$90,000 per year
  • This position is remote with the option to work on-site at Headquarters; no relocation assistance package.  
  • Flexible working hours with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
