Job description

We are in search of an analyst with specialized expertise in energy policy. Energy Analysts are responsible for developing unique investment ideas based on rigorous policy analysis. They interact regularly with politicians, regulators and other policymakers, as well as investors across the U.S energy sector. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, creativity, and a demonstrated interest in policy and financial markets. A successful candidate will be a highly qualified professional with at least 5 years of experience in equity research, policy analysis/policy, consulting, investment banking, or a related field.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Four-year Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least five years of experience in consulting, banking, policy analysis, investment analysis or a related field
  • High academic achievement
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

Capstone offers a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, travel stipend and 401(k). The expected compensation for this role will be $135,000-$170,000 per annum with eligibility in Capstone's annual bonus pool. 
 
This position is based in our Washington, DC office. Capstone is in-person Monday thru Thursday with flexible work from home Fridays.
