Your missions

Sales Engineer 

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to help us change the way the world works, with Parallels: anytime, anywhere, any-device productivity. Here, you’ll be working with the Parallels Remote Application Server (RAS) and Parallels Desktop products working alongside the sales and marketing teams to secure sales revenue.

As a Sales Engineer, you will: 

  • Introduce product functions and benefits by performing product demonstrations to customers and business partners
  • Provide design guide document and technical implementation documents for support to customers and sales partners, while working toward winning sales orders.
  • Transfer product technical skills and provide technical knowledge to customers.
  • Build your own internal testing environment for products you sell, to confirm product specification functions, and create various documents based on these results. 
  • Work smoothly with clients to solve any technical issues they have as they arise.
  • Work with Sales, fellow Sales Engineers, and the Technical Support Team to expand product sales revenue in the Japanese market.

What YOU bring to the team: 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • A University degree in Informational Technologies, Mathematics or Physics are preferable
  • Strong communication skills – Ability to speak, read, and write in both Japanese and English
  • Knowledge of the following technical topics or to have certified technical qualifications: Microsoft OS and Active Directory related, Azure-related, AWS-related, Nutanix AHV related, any Storage vendor, network-related, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of pre-sales / technical support for VDI solutions such as Citrix, VMware etc.
  • Knowledge and support experience of Windows Server (preferable), networking, multiple devices and OSes is a plus
  • IT system design experience is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies in direct relation to and beyond the scope of work
  • Ability to maintain a good environment with customers and sales partners and internal related departments within the company.
  • Although not frequently required, ability to participate in head office sales and marketing meetings and to communicate directly with technical support
