Our Newest Opportunity:
As the Vice President of Carrier Relations for the Property & Casualty (P&C) practice at OneDigital, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with P&C insurance carriers. You will manage appointments, contracts and relationships with P&C carriers, as well as wholesalers, to maximize strategic alignment, generate financial improvements, and improve the quality of partner relationships across OneDigitial. With extensive industry experience, you will leverage your knowledge to assess and manage existing relationships while seeking new partnerships to enhance OneDigital’s strategic
approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quickly develop strong relationships with carrier partners and internal leaders across the country.
- Serve as escalation point for problem resolution between our team members and carrier partners.
- Analyze acquired agency book of business as a part of the M&A process and develop an integration strategy and timeline.
- Assist the M&A team with due diligence tasks related to carrier appointments and book mergers
- Communicate carrier volumes and strategic updates to P&C leaders across the country
- Negotiate new and existing carrier agreements
- Implement plan and process for broadened office appointments across country
- Work with the AMS Core Team for new agency onboarding plans
- Assist with Surplus Lines filing strategy
- Work collaboratively with technical and operational staff in other areas of business
- Maintain highest level of service standard
- Assist the licensing team with development and maintenance of a national carrier database
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Deep understanding of P&C carrier contracting and associated agreements is a must
- Strategic and “big picture” thinker
- Expert negotiator
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong executive presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to create and maintain standard operating processes
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with others of all levels
Education, Training and Experience:
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience with property & casualty carrier contracting (agency or carrier side)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
- Applied Epic experience is a plus
Location:
- Ideally your location will align with one of our P&C offices across the country.
- Office-based with work from home flexiblity
Base Pay Range: $140,000-$150,000
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
