Overview

The Data Analytics area is responsible for using modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, identify, and analyze data.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Data Analyst to join the Operations Management Office in TNS. While always evolving, the purpose of this role is to support Operations Supervisors in the collection, analysis, and presentation of data that is used to derive insight/knowledge which in turn is used to drive evidence & value-based decision making across our Business Units.  Our Vision in Operations is to provide “Peace of Mind” to our Business Units, Customers and Employees. This role will be instrumental in enabling Supervisors to achieve that vision.

The role requires collection, organisation, analysis, understanding, and presentation of data from Systems of Record such as Remedy (CMDB), Workday (ERP & time tracking) and Salesforce (Work request and project tracking) to support Operations Supervisors across their responsibilities for;

  • Resource Capacity Management
  • Operations Plan of Record (PMO) Management  
  • Operations Risk Management
  • Data Migrations & Integrations required to support continual improvement/transformation.
  • Data Integrity governance & continual improvement initiatives
  • Operations Policy & Process documentation & continual improvement/transformation
  • Business case analysis to support change and feed Automation intake
  • Recuring management information reporting packs & the establishment of automation in the delivery of reporting to reduce inefficiency in administration activities
  • Process mapping & optimisation
  • Change Management Approval & Governance process support
  • Ad-hoc data analysis and reporting activities

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Advanced analysis & problem solving
  • Advanced team working

  • Technical documentation writing and process mapping.
  • Ability to work autonomously and across time zones
  • Ability to operate at multiple levels.
  • 2-3 Years + experience in a similar role
  • Experience in liaising with various stakeholders to deliver effective outcomes.
  • Always demonstrate honesty and integrity.
  • Skilled/Experienced in some/all applications is beneficial - MS Excel & PowerPoint, Tableau(or equivalent), Salesforce, Workday, Lucid charts(Visio), Remedy, Mulesoft, Nautobot.
  • Knowledge of Automation such as RPA & Network programmatic automation & orchestration on Nautobot is beneficial
  • Strong skills in Excel required – e.g. Pivot tables, Lookups, Chart report creation and updating is important
  • Strong Presentation skills through MS PowerPoint required.
