Senior Structural Engineer (all genders)

About the role

• Structural design of the Gropyus Building System for:
  • project stages up to and including LP5+
  • ongoing product development of our building product
• Focus on DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) with additional focus on sustainability and cost efficiency
• Working closely with our experts in Parameterization, Architecture, MEP, Building Physics, Acoustics, Fire Protection, Energy Design, Sustainability, Production, Purchasing and Execution
• Contributing to the improvement of our Digital Value Chain in cooperation with the Product and Technology Teams - working with the goal of standardized and stable processes for both the design phases and the assembly of the project
• Potentially conception and planning of physical tests in our internal test benches and at external test institutes

About you

• Minimum 3 years of structural design experience
• Experience in timber construction and connection details
• Proficient in EC5, EC8, EC3, EC2 and other relevant codes
• Project experience in the LP5+ project stage in Germany and/or Austria
• Experience in residential buildings of building class 4 and/or 5 a plus
• Experience in RFEM 5/6, in Rhino or Revit, in scripting, programming, and digital methods a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders from different professional areas
• Fluent spoken and written German language skills and good spoken and written English skills
