Duration: 6 months, with the option of extending to 9 or 12 months by mutual agreement.

Hours: 32-40 hours per week.

Location: Amsterdam, Best, Eindhoven, Drachten. Let us know your preference and, while we can’t promise, we’ll try to match.

What you’ll be doing…

Nothing beats real-life, purposeful experience. As a Marketing Intern at Philips, you’ll get a great opportunity to discover how marketing works in detail, working in a company that makes a difference. You’ll gain hands on experience in one of our specialist learning assignment tracks within our Business Clusters or Markets. We’ll ask you to collaborate and get involved, gaining important ‘on the job’ experience as well as benefiting from mentoring from the professional team around you.

You’ll work on:

As a successful Marketing Intern, your assignment will be in one of the following tracks: Trade Shopper, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, Analytics & Insights, Consumer Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Communication, Marketing Capabilities & Learning.

To join us as an intern we ask that:

  • You have a customer-first attitude and purpose to make life better

  • A commercial, growth mindset

  •  Are currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master in:  Marketing, Marketing Communication (Media & Design), Marketing Data Analytics, Business Information Management, Business Analytics Management, Business Economics, Business Administration or Business Management

  • Demonstrate great inter-personal and communication skills and are a strong collaborator

  • Are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and can do mentality – eager, ambitious, with good organizational skills

  • Have business fluency in English – for some positions Dutch might be required

In return, we’ll offer you: A non-stop growth opportunity within Marketing but also within a global multinational company. IN addition, we also want to renumerate you well for the opportunity. This includes:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on your education level and if you need to relocate to The Netherlands. Part-time internships receive the allowance pro-rata. 

  • Housing compensation. Should you need to relocate to near our office, we’ll offer you a monthly allowance of €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. To be eligible, we’ll just ask for the rental contract from your landlord, and your usual home-work travel distance needs to be more than 50 km or 1.5 hours of travel time (for a one way trip). 

  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net as a monthly allowance. 

  • Paid holidays per internship term. 

  • The opportunity to buy Philips products at our Philips shop. 

IMPORTANT: 

Part of our selection procedure is a HireVue online interview recording. We are not able to correspond the outcome of this HireVue interview but will use this as extra selection criteria.

In order to be considered, you have to be registered as a student during the entire internship periodFormal documentation will be requested. Students from outside the EU enrolled in a Dutch university need to fill in a NUFFIC agreement – needing to be signed by the student and the university. 

Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
