Position Summary
As a Business Development Manager, your primary role will be to develop, penetrate and grow our strategic consulting services within the Utility, Energy, Infrastructure, and Industrial industries. You will be responsible for obtaining new and retrofit project business orders through interaction with other internal business unit sales teams, external engineering organizations, and governmental, public, and private utility companies and organizations.
Our ideal candidate is an accomplished sales leader with a proven record of consistent achievement and account retention within the engineering, energy, and utilities staffing/consulting industry.

Job responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Business Development
● Establish and develop a professional working relationship with the key contacts at identified managed accounts
● Responsible for identifying growth opportunities of additional business within existing accounts
● Identify key decision makers within functional areas and work with the Sales team to expand business
● Prepare and present any client requested information
● Serve as the single point of contact for issue escalation for client and internal recruitment team
● Represent PFES at industry meetings, trade shows, and conferences within territory
Operational
● Manage day-to-day operational activities that are required to service identified managed accounts. Activities include, but are not limited to:
Manage job orders from the client - either email correspondence, ATS tool or VMS tool
Distribute job orders to our internal team via our internal database and manage submittal process for qualified candidates
Host or participate in qualification calls hosted by client contacts and provide information obtained to internal team
Coordinate, schedule and confirm interview details including time, location, contact information and additional notes for interviewing candidates
Request feedback on submitted candidates from managed accounts and relay information received to the designated team member(s)
Maintain an interview activity log updated daily with scheduled interviews
Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations
● Review and vet resumes to ensure candidates meet job requirements; work with recruitment on receiving additional information as needed or explaining when candidates do not meet requirements
● Manage the staffing process from start to end
● Assist internal HR in onboarding process by cross-checking the candidate completes the client’s requirements for onboarding including but not limited to - internal paperwork, account specific paperwork, and drug & background screens
● Proactively manage open requisitions to ensure a prioritized focus on critical roles
● Manage active contractors and consultants on assigned projects
● Manage client relationships with current contacts
Education & Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree
● 3-5+ years of new business development experience within the engineering/energy/utilities staffing and consulting industry
● Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload
● Ability to build, maintain and expand relationships
● Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
● Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

●Base salary range: $75,000 - $95,000k + uncapped commission
*The base salary rate will be commensurate with experience level and past success. We are happy to discuss your wage expectations in more detail throughout our internal interview process.
