Bolt engineering teams are working on unique product challenges: complex algorithms for demand prediction, optimal real-time pricing, routing, fraud detection, distributed systems, and much more. Volumes are growing at a steady pace. The Site Reliability Data team is managing stateful workloads and services that keep Bolt backend services running and our Site Reliability Cloud team is ensuring the stability, security, and cost-efficiency of our Cloud infrastructure.

  • <point>Working with stateful systems, that handle terabytes of data, and millions of requests per second</point>
  • <point>Developing automation and implementing internal systems, processes, and best practices to increase productivity in Bolt</point>
  • <point>Participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment, security, and availability</point>
  • <point>Collaborating with other SRE Engineers and Software Engineers</point>
  • <point>Troubleshooting production system issues to make Bolt services more reliable</point>
  • <point>Making sure all main services are measured, monitored, and covered by alerting systems</point>
  • <point>Participating in on-call activities for the most critical parts of the infrastructure, helping to solve incidents in no-blaming culture</point>

  • <point>You are experienced with handling stateful services such as Elasticsearch, Redis, or Prometheus</point>
  • <point>You are experienced with platforms such as AWS EC2, AWS EKS, or Kubernetes</point>
  • <point>You have experience with infrastructure automation tools, such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible</point>
  • <point>You understand the DevOps and Scrum way of working</point>
  • <point>You are a team player, with good communication skills, that works well with others in the group and the rest of the organization</point>
