Sr. Automation Engineer at Blooming Health

Blooming Health is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Automation QA Engineer to join our offshore team. As a Senior Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and driving quality initiatives, analyzing business processes, designing and implementing test strategies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Utilize expertise in test automation and manual testing to design, develop, and execute advanced test scenarios, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency in testing.
• Author, code, test, debug, and document complex test scenarios and test scripts, and review the work of other QA engineers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Drive continuous improvement in the quality assurance process, tools, and techniques, and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work with the development team to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination of QA efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation and manual testing.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing test strategies and comprehensive test plans.
• Expertise in one or more test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, or similar.
• Strong understanding of web technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of QA engineers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
