Your missions

Position Overview:

The Sales Representative (SR) role at Batash Endoscopic Weight Loss (BEWL) is responsible for converting leads to medical consults as part of BEWL’s customer-centered, high-impact sales process. Sales representatives spend most of their time running pre-consult “discovery” calls with potential patients, engaging with patients on a variety of digital channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, phone, email), and handling patient questions or concerns that arise before the patient’s medical consult call. SRs regularly review their performance with BEWL’s Director of Sales and help identify and deploy best practices and improvements to help improve BEWL’s overall sales effort.

Company Overview:

At BEWL, we provide our patients with long-term weight loss solutions that positively transform patients’ weight, well-being, mood, energy, and health. We offer minimally invasive, high-value weight loss procedures including endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESGs) and bariatric balloons. Many patients experience a reduction in weight of 20% or more with several patients having lost over 100 pounds. With over 3,000 procedures performed, our patient-focused, outcomes-oriented organization is the #1 leading provider of endobariatric procedures in the United States with plans to significantly grow our business over the coming years so we can help even more patients positively transform their lives.

Why people love working at BEWL:

  • BEWL’s procedures help positively transform patients’ lives; this Sales Representative plays a critical role in helping patients make progress towards these life-changing procedures
  • SRs get a significant amount of autonomy to engage with patients guided by clear goals, guides (e.g., call scripts), and ways of working
  • Work in an agile, patient-centered healthcare provider committed to supporting our patients across their entire weight loss journey
  • Work in a world-leading outpatient healthcare practice offering best-in-class healthcare solutions to patients from all walks of life; BEWL staff feel proud of the impact of our work
  • Work with entrepreneurial, ambitious, caring colleagues and help our patients make a real, lasting impact on their quality of life, health, and happiness

Key responsibilities include:

  • Hold discovery calls and pre-consult check-in calls with patients to capture key patient information, confirm patient eligibility, build interest in BEWL’s procedures, and schedule patient consultations
  • During discovery calls, educate patients on key details (e.g., price, benefits) and conduct a screen to check eligibility (e.g., weight) to ensure high-value consult calls for BEWL’s medical consult team; screen out ineligible and low-value leads (e.g., just window shopping, not actually interested, etc.)
  • Respond quickly (<12 hours) to all leads (e.g., DMs, leads with phone numbers, etc.)
  • Ensure leads are fully prepped for their consult call including answering questions and resolving any issues that may arise (e.g., rescheduling)
  • Consistently and efficiently follow up with open leads until considered “dead” or “cold”
  • Meet monthly sales targets (e.g., calls made, consults scheduled) and daily priorities to drive overall pipeline
  • Attend and actively engage in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to align on top wins, goals, learnings, and performance

Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales and account management
  • Experience directly working with leads and/or customers; genuinely motivated to help customers
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills to connect with patients
  • Able to consistently track and manage communication with a large number of leads
  • Good attention to detail; able to always write down clear, comprehensive, and accurate notes on key patient details (e.g., top goals, motivations, fears/blockers, weight, height)
