Job Title: Video Editor & Animator

Schedule: Flexible, few hours of overlap at least 1 to 2 hours between 9 am to 5 pm PST)

Salary Range: $1000 - $1200 USD/month

Who are we looking for:

We seek a talented Video Editor & Animator to create engaging and visually appealing video content for our company. You will work closely with our founder to develop compelling videos that engage the viewer and gain traction across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Twitter (X), Reddit, and Threads.

Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Own creating content for our social channels: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Twitter (X), Reddit, and Threads.
• Create 4-5 videos per week
• Regularly re-evaluate and improve video editing and animating approach to maximize content

Requirements

• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of video editing tools (e.g. Adobe Suite)
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of video animating tools (likely within Adobe Suite)
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (Midjourney, Pika, Leiapix, etc)
• Familiarity with stock footage and sound tools
• Great understanding of why short-form content goes viral
• Excellent intuition of storytelling and how to engage a listener/viewer
• Capable of adapting to minimal, premium, and simplistic branding styles
• Ideally interested in content focused on founders and entrepreneurship
