Position: Short Form video editor

Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (PST). Monday to Friday

Salary Range: $1,000 - USD 1,500 (Based on experience)

Location: Only LATAM

Payment Frequency: Monthly

Type of Contract: Independent Contractor

Scope of the Role 

As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and visually stunning content. Your responsibilities will include video and audio editing, ensuring a seamless and high-quality final product. Proficiency in essential tools like Adobe Suite, Slack, Monday.com (or Asana/Clickup), and Google Drive/Docs is mandatory. A huge plus would be the ability to leverage AI tools, such as Runway. You will be part of a dynamic team working on projects that push creative boundaries.



Duties and responsibilities:



  • Increase in viewer retention, engagement, and growth across all our brand channels.
  • Responsible for the professional level creation of all short-form video/audio content
  • Identify key moments of long-form video, to repurpose for short-form clips.
  • Contribute creative ideas and continuously improve our content.
  • Ensure timely and organized upload and management of footage.
  • Stay updated with viral trends and incorporate them into our video content.
  • Collaborate effectively with the production team and participate actively in team communications. Strong awareness of key content performance metrics and how to create content with them in mind. 

Requirements

  • English proficiency (C1) Both reading and spoken.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing and audio editing. MUST HAVE!
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Slack, Monday.com (or Asana/Clickup), and Google Drive/Docs. Nice to have!
  • Ability to use AI tools, particularly Runway or equivalent. Nice to have!
  • Strong creative and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
