Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified teacher to provide comprehensive education to a 14-year-old student. The ideal candidate will be a person with significant experience in both individual and group settings, adept at utilizing modern educational techniques and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a full-time, personalized curriculum tailored to the student's needs.
  • Conduct engaging online lessons, ensuring a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to motivate and captivate the student.
  • Apply a systematic approach to teaching science, demonstrating the interconnections between subjects.
  • Simplify complex concepts and organize information clearly for better understanding.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced educators to enhance the home-schooling experience.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of the student and parents.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience teaching students aged 12-15, both individually and in groups
  • Proficient in various curriculums and educational standards at this level, with familiarity in different education systems
  • Knowledgeable about modern trends and approaches in education, including the use of contemporary technologies
  • Extensive experience in online teaching
  • Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in Russian or Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to create a comprehensive teaching program for the student, rather than providing supplementary tutoring
  • Strong motivation to actively engage in the student's learning process, working collaboratively with other educators
  • Individualized approach to cater to the specific needs of the student
