Overview:

We are happy to present this Fellowship Program to trainees who are willing to meet the guidelines listed below.

Responsibilities:

During the experience, the trainee will engage in the following types of activities:

  • Conducting assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., stimulus preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment).
  • Conducting assessments that evaluate behavioral interventions.
  • Designing, implementing, and systematically monitoring skill-acquisition and behavior reduction programs.
  • Writing behavior/treatment plans, progress summaries, clinical notes, transition summaries, and professional correspondence.
  • Overseeing the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by others.
  • Training others, designing behavioral systems, and performance management.
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with caregivers and other professionals.
  • Other activities normally performed by a behavior analyst that are directly related to behavior analysis such as attending planning meetings regarding the behavior-analytic program and researching the literature that is relevant to a current client’s programming.
  • Creating behavior analytic programs based on current research disseminated through journals and professional conferences.
  • Observation, data collection, graphing, and analysis of client, staff and caregiver behavior as applicable.
  • Training staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs or content.
  • Meeting with clients about behavior-analytic programming and services.
  • Publicly presenting behavior analytic information to staff, caregivers, and professionals in formal environments.
  • By the end of the experience, the trainee will:
  • Demonstrate understanding of and competency in skills for each task list item.
  • Meet competency in each objective outlined above.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior that is in compliance with the BACB standards and Compliance Code.
Qualifications:

To be considered for the program, you must:

  • Have worked for the organization a minimum of 90 consecutive days.
  • No disciplinary actions in the past 90 days.
  • No call outs in the past 90 days.
  • Must obtain recommendation letter from supervising BCBA.
  • Must have RBT licensure in good standing.
  • Apply for the program through the careers page.
