Role Details:

 Reporting Structure: The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst position will work under the supervision of a Clinical Director reporting on a weekly basis.

 Compensation: $75,0000 + $3,000 sign- on bonus

 Location/Travel Details:

This role is community-based in our residential ABI and ASD programs in Brockton and Easton, MA. You will have the ability to work from home one day per week – your choice! Travel throughout the community to essential meetings is flexible and would not exceed 25%.

 

📑 Role Requirements:

  • Master’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s program.
  • Hold an active BCBA certification or in the process of attaining a BCBA certification within one year.
  • Proactively maintain credentials annually.
  • Experience and knowledge in the principles of ABA and working with Individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Hold a valid Safety Care®
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated training.
  • Must be fluent in English and able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with individuals under supervision, employees of the organization, families, and members of the community.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and other agencies.

🔍 Daily Activity of a BCBA:

 

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday schedule with flexible 8-hour days based on caseload. You will have the ability to work from home one day per week- your choice!
  • Opportunity to be mentored by an experienced Psychologist.
  • Direct ABA services:  For adults with developmental disabilities and behavior disorders and their families.
  • Create and implement behavior support plans, guidelines, and other documents necessary for CRC and DDS regulations: These plans may encompass strategies for managing challenging behaviors, promoting skill acquisition, and fostering independence.
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and other assessments as needed: BCBA's conduct these assessments and other evaluations to gather data on behavior patterns, environmental factors, and individual strengths and needs, which informs the development of effective intervention plans.
  • Create and manage data collection systems: BCBA's design and oversee these systems to ensure accuracy and reliability in tracking behavioral outcomes over time.
  • Supervise RBTs (Registered Behavior Therapists): This involves providing ongoing training, feedback, and support for RBTs to enhance their skills and maintain fidelity to intervention protocols.
  • Manage and support a caseload of individuals: This involves regular communication with clients, families, and other team members to facilitate collaboration and optimize outcomes.
  • Attend and actively participate in stakeholder meetings: These meetings serve as opportunities to discuss progress, address concerns, and coordinate efforts to promote consistency and continuity in intervention strategies.
  • Provide training: This ensures that all stakeholders involved in the individual's care are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to support their progress effectively.
  • Assist in behavioral crises: This involves conducting risk assessments, developing crisis intervention plans, and providing guidance and support to team members in managing challenging situations safely and effectively.
  • Work with interdisciplinary team to provide support: This may include but is not limited to program staff, Program Directors, Residential Directors, family, guardians, medical staff, SLP, OT, PT, and outside agencies.
  • Adhere to Charles River Center safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required: BCBA's may be called upon to fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to support the organization's goals and objectives, which may include participating in research projects, conducting staff training sessions, or assisting with program development initiatives.
