The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The above role will be responsible to build & evaluate data for interactive & conversational speech products, analysis of healthcare documentation drafts & maintenance generated via Speech Recognition Engines using in‐house developed tools. These concepts build a bridge between healthcare data and clinical documentation, and feed into Electronic Medical Records. This process is key to Core Speech and allows data to be organized in meaningful ways, creating knowledge that can guide research teams, and take data driven decisions to fix issues. This helps Clinical Architecture achieve its goal of building clinical data and use the same in upcoming Machine Learning and AI technology to improve patient care and Revenue Cycle Management.
As an ASR Language Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Reviewing and Quality Checking Medical Documents: Ensure accuracy and adherence to specific guidelines in medical documentation.
Meeting Internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Work within defined SLAs to ensure timely review and turnaround of documents, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Quality Assurance for New Speech Recognisers: Conduct quality assurance by dictating and testing new speech recognition systems.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
A Levels or equivalent
In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Audio typing experience.
Previous experience as a medical secretary.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
AMSPAR Diploma in Medical Secretaries.
Experience working within the NHS or Healthcare environment.
Familiarity with proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure as well as medical jargon, and abbreviations for accuracy.
Above average typing skills and willingness to undergo continuous learning process.
