What You’ll Do
As a valued leader of the entire Creative Department, you will also oversee and manage the day-to-day and future growth of the Publications teams. You will collaborate with leadership, management, creative and brand directors, scientific writers, project managers, editors, and key stakeholders in the strategic vision, creation, and implementation of best practices and great work.
A Day in the Life
- Develop creative materials for Vaniam Group companies and clients, including but not limited to, conceptual work, illustrations, publication posters, scientific figures, print materials, interactive PDFs, logo development, PowerPoint slide decks, and HTML email
- Exhibit expert knowledge and skill in file preparation for print or digital submissions
- Provide coaching/direction and mentorship to junior team members
- Support business development and improvement in alignment with Vaniam Group goals
- Work independently with minimal oversight by direct manager beyond creative direction and work assignments
- Other duties may be assigned to help drive deliverables within this role
What You Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of work experience in related field
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively in a dynamic, virtual environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels within the organization and with clients
- Excellent oral and communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize personal and team workload effectively
- Flexible, adaptable, and “cool under pressure”
- Results-oriented with a commitment to accountability
- Excellent problem-solving skills including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions, and work well in group problem-solving solutions
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency to obtain results
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally as necessary, based on project, sponsor, and organizational needs (<10% travel expected)
The Team You’ll Work Closest With
You will work most closely with other Creative, Publications, and Account Services staff. You will collaborate with multiple departments within Vaniam Group including, but not limited to, Business Strategy, Medical Strategy, Scientific Communications, Program Services, Creative, and Client Services.

Salary offers are based upon several factors including experience, education, skills, training, demonstrated qualifications, location, and organizational need. The range for this role is $105,000 - $115,000. Salary is one component of the total earnings and rewards package offered.
