Chief Accountant at indaHash

We are looking for an experienced Chief Accountant, responsible for overseeing the accounting operations at indaHash. The Chief Accountant will ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported in a timely fashion, and will play an active role in helping to develop and implement the company’s overall accounting strategy.

The challenges you will meet as the Chief Accountant:

• Close cooperation with CFO and IDH management regarding finance department set up

• Decisiveness for scheduling timelines of changes implementation within accounting department

• Responsibility for the financial accounting of a Group of legal entities in different countries (AR, AP, GL)

• Cooperation with local and foreign accounting offices

• Responsibility for full tax and statutory reporting (VAT, CIT, withholding tax, GUS, NBP

• reporting)

• Responsibility for accounting policy and chart of accounts as well as accounting and tax procedures on local and Group level, (if needed)

• Preparing periodic financial statements, analysis and reports; including consolidation of Financial Statements at Group level

• Leading statutory audits and tax controls on local and Group level (if needed)

• Providing complete and correct financial information and data for reporting,

• forecasting and controlling purposes in the organisation

• Liaising with key stakeholders and coordinating the resolution of accounting problems with impacted business

• Continuously improving and working on efficiencies of accounting and tax processes

• Participating in other projects and initiatives related with accounting

• Managing accounting team

• Responsibility for internal financial accounting (when moved from external accounting office)

Requirements: 

• Polish at C1 level is a must

• At least 5 years of experience in Accounting department and preferably at least 2 years in Chief Accountant role (marketing / advertising industry would be an asset)

• Degree in Accounting/Finance

• Strong knowledge regarding tax regulations (including Withholding Tax) and standards of international accounting

• Strong management and organisation skills in building and controlling of external accounting offices

• Good knowledge of accounting consolidation of FS

• English at C1 level

• Good MS Office skills particularly strong capabilities in MS Excel

• Proactive approach, accuracy, strong organisational skills, strategic thinking abilities

• Good communication and team working, efficiency, innovation

• Former experience with multinational companies and accountancy regulations would be welcomed

• Experience in brokerage and trading industry would be an asset

• ACCA or other financial / accounting certificate would be an asset
