Job description

GrowthAssistant is looking for a Media Ad Buyer - Paid Social for our growth marketing team in the US. This teammate plays a pivotal role in executing and optimizing our paid social media campaigns across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest. This position requires a blend of creativity, analytical prowess, and a keen understanding of digital trends to effectively reach and engage our target audience.

The Role

  • Full cycle of paid ads: strategizing, building ads, launching ads, monitoring KPIs/metrics, optimizing ads, analyzing ads performance data, and providing recommendations and insights to the client
  • Support planning and execution across user acquisition channels, including Facebook/IG, TikTok, Pinterest, and more.
  • Draw insights from data to guide your decisions on optimizations and spend allocation in paid media spend.
  • Quality control to ensure standards are up to client expectations, naming conventions, ad copy, and deadlines.
  • Ad loading - building out the ads properly, setting up the ads in the account, ad copy is aligned with the creatives
  • Reporting/Trend Analysis - The client to provide metrics and templates.
  • Generate and track UTMs across campaigns. 
  • Continuously optimize ad performance based on real-time data, adjusting targeting, bidding, and creative elements for maximum effectiveness. 
 

The Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing paid social campaigns
  • Proficient in analytics and reporting tools, with the ability to derive insights from data
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot, VLookUp, etc.)
  • Has an understanding of the following:
    • media metrics, formulas, and the ability to analyze data for insights
    • basic marketing concepts, such as calculating ROAS by formula or defining click-through rate
  • Proactive, whatever-it-takes attitude and possess a solid grasp of digital marketing, enabling them to navigate the social ads manager platform efficiently with a keen eye for detail and the ability to extract meaningful insights from account data. 
  • Proficiency in ads manager and social media platforms / advertising tools.
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
